Terms and Conditions
Last updated: August 23, 2026
These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the Phlebotomy Express Training Centers website and your purchase or registration for programs, classes, training, or related services offered through the website.
By using this website, submitting a registration, or completing a purchase, you agree to these Terms and Conditions and any applicable policies or enrollment requirements referenced by PETC.
1. Website Use
This website is provided for informational, registration, enrollment, and payment purposes related to programs and services offered by Phlebotomy Express Training Centers (“PETC”).
You agree to use the website only for lawful purposes and not to interfere with its operation, security, or availability.
2. Program and Class Information
PETC makes reasonable efforts to keep program descriptions, class dates, schedules, tuition, requirements, and other information current.
PETC reserves the right to make reasonable changes to class dates, instructors, locations, schedules, instructional arrangements, or other program details when necessary.
When a change affects a registered student, PETC will provide notice and will work with the student to reschedule or move the student to an appropriate available class or training arrangement.
3. Registration and Enrollment
Submitting a registration or completing an online purchase does not waive any additional enrollment requirements that may apply to a specific PETC program.
Students are responsible for providing accurate and complete information when registering and for completing any required enrollment documentation.
Certain programs may have eligibility, documentation, health, identification, age, educational, uniform, equipment, or other admission requirements.
Applicable requirements will be communicated through the program information, enrollment process, student contract, or PETC staff.
4. Tuition and Payment
Prices displayed on the website are stated in U.S. dollars unless otherwise indicated.
Full tuition is preferred at registration. PETC may also allow deposits, payment plans, or other approved payment arrangements.
The availability and terms of a deposit or payment arrangement may depend on the program and the arrangement approved by PETC.
Payment for classes or training purchased through the website is processed through PETC’s authorized payment provider.
Students are responsible for reviewing the selected class, program, date, payment amount, and other registration information before submitting payment.
Students with an outstanding, declined, reversed, or otherwise unpaid tuition obligation may be unable to continue or complete training until the payment issue is resolved in accordance with PETC policy.
5. Refunds, Cancellations, Withdrawals, and Rescheduling
Refund eligibility and related payment matters are governed by PETC’s separate Refund, Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy and any applicable student enrollment agreement.
Students should review applicable refund and cancellation requirements before completing a registration or purchase.
Student cancellations, withdrawals, no-shows, and related requests for rescheduling may require appropriate supporting documentation. Examples provided by PETC include a doctor’s note or court order.
Students should contact PETC as soon as possible when circumstances may prevent them from attending or completing a scheduled class. PETC will review rescheduling or transfer requests based on the circumstances, documentation provided, and available class options.
6. Attendance and Missed Classes
Students are expected to attend and complete the classroom, online, laboratory, clinical, assessment, and other training requirements applicable to their program.
Students who will be late or unable to attend because of an emergency should contact PETC as soon as possible at (313) 341-5344.
When permitted under the applicable program and schedule, a missed class may be made up during the same week or through another arrangement approved by PETC.
Excessive tardiness, absenteeism, failure to complete required training, or failure to follow an approved make-up arrangement may result in disciplinary action or dismissal from the program.
7. Student Conduct
Students are expected to behave professionally and respectfully toward PETC faculty, staff, classmates, visitors, and others involved in the learning environment.
Aggressive or threatening behavior, fighting, disruptive conduct, dishonesty, plagiarism, inappropriate profanity, destruction or unauthorized removal of property, possession or consumption of illegal drugs or alcohol, or disrespect toward faculty or peers may result in disciplinary action, including dismissal.
Students are also expected to follow all applicable classroom, laboratory, clinical, safety, and instructional requirements.
8. Dress and Clinical Requirements
PETC programs may require students to wear designated uniforms and bring required supplies or equipment to class and clinical activities.
Current PETC requirements include navy blue scrubs for Phlebotomy students and black scrubs for Medical Assistant students unless PETC provides different instructions for a specific activity.
Students must follow PETC requirements regarding footwear, nails, protective equipment, supplies, and other classroom or clinical appearance and safety standards.
Clinical requirements may differ from general classroom requirements. Students must follow the specific instructions provided by PETC for the applicable clinical activity.
A student who does not meet required dress, safety, or clinical standards may be prevented from participating until the requirement is corrected and may be subject to disciplinary action under PETC policy.
9. Non-Payment
Students are responsible for meeting the financial obligations associated with their registration or approved payment arrangement.
If a required payment is not made when due, or a payment is declined, reversed, or dishonored, PETC may suspend the student’s participation or ability to complete the program until the outstanding payment issue is resolved.
Additional payment obligations, fees, or refund matters will be handled in accordance with the applicable enrollment agreement and PETC policies.
10. Dismissal
PETC reserves the right to take disciplinary action, including dismissal from a program, when a student fails to comply with applicable academic, attendance, financial, conduct, dress, safety, or instructional requirements.
Reasons for disciplinary action or dismissal may include misconduct, violence or threats, dishonesty or plagiarism, destruction or unauthorized removal of property, illegal drugs or alcohol, failure to meet financial obligations, repeated tardiness or absenteeism, unsatisfactory academic performance, dress-code violations, code-of-conduct violations, or disrespect toward faculty or peers.
11. Student Complaints
PETC encourages students to raise concerns professionally and constructively.
Students may follow PETC’s student complaint process to bring a concern to the appropriate program representative or manager. PETC states that complaints will be handled confidentially as appropriate and that students will not be subjected to unfair treatment solely because they initiated a complaint.
12. Training Outcomes and Certification
A student’s successful completion of training depends in part on the student’s attendance, participation, effort, ability, completion of required work, and satisfaction of applicable program requirements.
Completion of a PETC training program does not guarantee employment, wages, job placement, licensure, certification, or successful completion of a third-party examination unless PETC expressly states otherwise in writing.
Requirements established by employers, certifying organizations, governmental agencies, or other third parties may change and are outside PETC’s control.
13. Training Materials and Website Content
Website content and PETC training materials, including text, graphics, branding, syllabi, lessons, presentations, course materials, photographs, videos, and other materials owned by PETC may not be reproduced, recorded, distributed, republished, transmitted, or commercially used without PETC’s permission, except as permitted by law.
Third-party trademarks and materials remain the property of their respective owners.
14. Third-Party Services
The PETC website may use third-party services for functions such as payment processing, forms, event registration, maps, or other website functionality.
Third-party services may be governed by their own terms, privacy practices, and service conditions.
15. Privacy
Use of personal information submitted through this website is governed by PETC’s Privacy Policy.
16. Website Availability and Accuracy
PETC may update, correct, suspend, or modify website content when necessary.
Although PETC seeks to provide accurate information, website content may occasionally contain typographical, technical, scheduling, or other errors.
If an apparent error affects a registration or payment, students should contact PETC for clarification.

The current version will be posted on this page together with its effective or last-updated date.
